Holy Land 2000
(Palestine and Israel) Between 3-4 million people are expected to travel to Palestine and Israel during in the year 2000. The millennium commemorates the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ. More than 100 events are expected including a Jerusalem 2000 Congress on Forgiveness and Tournaments of Peace. Special events are being hosted in Bethlehem, Nazareth and Jerusalem from 1999 to 2001.
